This is No Task For Kids – Japan
We don’t even know WTF is going on with this competition, but we do know that the punishments for failing are intense. Losers may be spanked, hit with a whip, or even forced to perform lewd “acts” on one another. Whaaaaaaaa?
Domo arigato, but NO domo arigato, if you know what I mean.
Brain Wall – Japan
In a game of human Tetris, contestants try to squeeze their entire bodies through weird shapes in a wall.
Oh – did we mention the wall is moving? And the contestants wear sparkly unitards? You’re welcome.
The Very Worst Driver In The Netherlands – Um, The Netherlands
If your teenager competed on a reality show the very first day he got his license, this would be the result. Terrible drivers are forced to race through obstacle courses, resulting in “hilarious” crashes. Sometimes straight into the camera crew.
It’s Not a Dream – Cambodia
The one bright spot on our list, this game show is actually trying to make a difference in people’s lives. Since the cultural revolution tore apart so many families in 1970s Cambodia, It’s Not a Dream seeks to reunite lost loved ones for the first time on live TV.
The result is a feel good show that almost feels a little too real for reality TV. It would definitely be Oprah-approved.
The Intercept – Russia
Picture yourself as OJ in a white Bronco. That’s this show. If you’ve ever dreamed of being caught in a high speed car chase where police are trying to run you off the road/shoot you, The Intercept is for you!
