f NBC's hit show This Is Us had an aesthetic, it would be "sobbing uncontrollably due to an intense emotional experience." Seriously, if you don't watch the award-winning show, you're missing out on all of the feels.
Here's the thing about any show: even if the script is perfect, it can't be brought to life without an incredible cast. Luckily for This Is Us it has both. Not only is the writing superb, but the acting is beyond. But the show does one better: the cast is just as amazing in real life as they are on TV. Here are 15 moments that prove they're best.
Sterling K. Brown overcome by emotion after winning a SAG award is everything.
It was well-deserved. Not only did Brown win Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series, but the entire cast took home the award for Best Ensemble in a Drama Series.
And of course his epic speech after winning the Golden Globe left us in tears.
We’re going to watch this over and over when we need some inspiration. Brown made history by being the first black man to win best actor in a television series.
We’re not crying, you’re crying!
Then there was the whole "let's carry each other on our backs" thing.
Last year on an episode of the show, Jack (played by Milo Ventimiglia) carried his son, Randall, on his back for an exercise in a karate class. It was a powerfully moving scene.
Now here’s where things come full circle. Sterling K. Brown plays adult Randall in the show.
In November of last year, Ventimiglia recreated the push-up scene with Brown and basically broke the internet.
But it didn't stop there!
Brown then posted a video of himself carrying Ventimiglia on his back. “And I got you pop,” he wrote in the tweet as the world collectively dabbed at their teary eyes.
Oh, wait, did you think it was going to stop there?
BECAUSE IT DOESN’T! Then, Justin Hartley who plays another of Jack’s sons and Randall’s brother, Kevin, posted a video of himself doing push-ups with Brown on his back.
Uhhhh, yeah, we’re all dying…
But it still doesn’t end there!
