March, 2003: I was still smoking too many cigarettes and living rent-free in a basement.

5 years ago, I first told Molly I’m crazy about her.

She let me stick around!

I’m still crazy—and very thankful.

    Did you know that smoking causes cancer in some laboratory rats???? I hear living in Dar’s basement may also cause cancer or some kind of lung ailment of some sort. Glad Molly let you out of the basement…………

    Here’s to gutsy guys being man enough to tell their women what they think of them instead of waiting on them to have the “where are we?” conversation. Viva la Initiative. And viva la Being Graced. It was three years and two months since Rosanna and I started talking seriously again after I was an idiot for a summer.
