Experiments in getting to the point.

Preserving the (lexical) purity of trysts: They’re not for tramps.

Tryst? Maybe the NY Times should look up the word. The arrangements that were reported between Spitzer and his tramps had nothing to do with courtship.
It’s amazing to me how little press there is concerning the women of the Spitzer scandel. Let alone any negative press. Did they not break the law too? (inject sarcasm here) Surely this doen’t mean the mainstream media approves of such behavior?

Well, to be perfectly fair, which exactly is the bigger story: Call girls give services or the Governor of New York pays for it? It’s pretty obvious, no?

Granted Sam. My point is the media biased toward someone the deem hypocritical. There also has been little or no mention of his political affiliation. I just wanted to mention that in passing.

My real reason for commenting is because I was drawn to the posting above and floored by the use of the word tryst in reference to this reported rendezvous.

Next Up: preserving the etymological sanctity of rendezvous ;-)
