For most of us, whether we are the prodigal or the elder brother simply depends on the day. At least, that’s what our Jr. High students thought when we were studying the book of Jonah (we were examining the parallel between the elder brother and Jonah).
I usually identify myself more with the pigs in that parable… did I miss the point again?
