Garrison Keillor likes my poem (or at least his people do).

Prairie Home Companion is having a sonnet contest.

Grand prize: a sleep number bed.

They posted my silly submission on their site.

Good submission! Creative. Hopefully you’ll win because the sleep number is a great bed.

Well done! That is just the kind of thing that Garrison loves. Did Karsten enter? His might be a bit more serious.

    Color me impressed.

Obviously, you shaded them, too–bravo on the mention.

I submitted one of mine, VERY different from yours (an affection for BBQ potato chips). Thanks for the head’s up!

I really loved that poem – I submitted one, then read yours and realized that mine was just doggerel. And then I stumble across it again through word press. it’s a small bloggy world.

OK, so I’m late on this one, but seriously the poem that won was terrible. And I’m rusty on my definitions, but I don’t think it was a sonnet. Just a bunch of couplets. Please. (Sorry to feed any residual bitterness.)
