*Depression/being stuck inside my own head
*Abortion (I was born outside of wedlock, and then adopted–so, no, you don’t need to explain the doctrine of adoption to me, ha!)
*Being killed because of my brother’s stupid decisions (he’s now a believer, thank God)
*Intellectual snobbery
*Religious snobbery (which is worse)
*Drug addiction
*Snake bites/anything involving anaphylactic shock/nearly dying, ever
*A career in politics
*A career in academia (kind of…I’m going to be a librarian, or that’s the plan for now)

Hasn’t saved me from losing a toenail (ow), but it has worked out for my good. It’s grown back. :D
