All of Mr. Morgan’s complaints about facebook can be dealt with. Firefox has an extremely effective add-on called “Adblock Plus,” which I use. It blocks all graphical ads on websites such as the ones on Facebook.

Folks, if you’re just gonna sit there and complain while the technology is there to fight back, maybe its time you disconnected yourself from pretty much everything.

Facebook, on its own, holds no inherit value – and is suprisingly addictive and time consuming. I will say that it has helpful properties, insofar that someone can get ahold of someone else quite fast therein. But, I’ve just returned from this unnecessary evil after a six-month departure mostly because many of my friends will be contacted no other way. Sad, but true.

And yes, it was at a school where Latin is not taught sufficiently to the glory of god ;-)

Being completely boring has worked for me thus far. Avoids the trauma of quitting and is completely in character!

Facebook is a great way to find people that you have never talked to in years, but I don’t use it that much. it has been great to connect with old high school buddies though. I honestly don’t need another site to check frequently, but it is WAY better than myspace.
