2 pianos dueled at high noon outside my parents’ house. Clearly, this one lost.

Around here, unfortunately, we can become inured to people lying on the side of the street.

    This is sad. If only I could have acted as a mediator between the two pianos! I would have offered to take one home so it would feel loved.

    that’s so sad. i mean, it’s better than a person, but i hate to see an instrument go to waste, especially a piano.

    That looks just like a piano I had to remove from our basement. I left mine on the side of the street, but I did call someone to take it away for a proper burial.

    Walt, I agree–it is someone sad. I tried to find someplace/someone to take mine, but there are so many old pianos out there that unless yours is in good shape, no one seems to want it.

    I will admit taking a sledgehammer and a torch to it was enjoyable! :)
