Maybe its mathematical…. “Time Warner Cable” divide “The power of you” = Internet access.
The Joel Osteen of internet/cable providers.
You need their power, but they need your money ;) to make the power. But yeah, I get what you are saying.
Maybe they believe (and statistics seem to be with them) that making YOU feel empowered and positive about yourself will sell their product without them doing anything!
haha Gavin good one… :D
It starts out whoosh and after a bit dosen’t seem so whooshy… So then they want to sell you a whooshier version…*: )
I just replaced Time Warner with another provider. I think that “The Irritation of You” might be a more accurate tagline…..

maybe it’s a subjective genitive and they mean that they are the power that belongs to you… hence time warner IS the power of you.
probably not. but technically possible. i’m just sayin.
Either nothing sells without appealing to people’s narcissism, or advertisers have no respect for the humility of the masses.
Probably both.
