    My husband dies laughing whenever I try to sing rock songs. He says everything sounds like a hymn when I sing it. I’m not sure what the adjective would be, but alternative rock is obviously not my genre.

    I went through that phase once. In fact, I still have parts of me that wish to be dark and mysterious, edgy, and dangerous.

    The problem comes when I open my mouth. With anybody, about anything. I can walk into a room, disguised (emotionally) like my favorite chic character, but when someone says, “Hello,” I’m done. It’s the kryptonite to my super hero complex.

    Totally Jennifer Garner as Sydney Bristow in Alias! That girl can kick some serious butt and she doesn’t even mess up her hair or makeup or cute outfit. Seems like I just have to do the dishes and I’m a mess!

    I think if you had the tux and tie on in the photo and simply slicked your hair back like 007, we’d all buy it, even with the baby and the shaken, not stirred bottle.

    oh man, when we went to see James Bond “Casino Royale”, I thought we would be driving on 2 wheels the whole way home.

    The only two movies that I have ever seen Jon morph into character has been that movie and the Jason Bourne movies.

    But as for me, possibly opinionated. Within reason, I really just don’t care.

    Actually, I think parenting can make life very edgy and mysterious, so perhaps you’re not too far off.

    For me–collected and competent, rather than flustered and forgetful…

    You married the right lady. She should be the one who sees the guy beyond the gadgets and swift, tiger-like moves.
