Sure, they’re delinquent punks, but at least they’re forthright about it.
I wish hoodlums would avoid our alley, but if they’re gonna be here, they might as well warn us with autological graffiti.

my expectations may be too high, but I’m impressed they spelled it correctly.
on a hunch, i found this reference in last February 3′s Star-Tribune:
“the ‘Crooks’ clique of the Sureños 13 gang that controls turf in south Minneapolis, including Lake Street”
in case anybody wondered.
not very creative, though, is it?
It’s taking me about 22 minutes to fully understand your 21st word. I’ll try again AFTER coffee.

I find it frightening still, after random exposure to it in southern California for 28 years. The fact that they were there in your was purposeful. The grafitti has meaning for them. I find it worrisome that perhaps in the name of “rising above it all” we become insensitized to real threats.
One of the most disturbing things to us as we reacclimated ourselves to rural Minnesota was the self-imposed sense of peace and safety we observed in longtime residents even in the face of activity by gangs, graffiti and specific threats and crimes.
Your country cousins are deceived. I experienced my worst vandalism while in the country. I lived more carefully in the city.
