    I love the sentence

    “Brother gave me a wagon”.

It has all sorts of interesting things happening in it.

First of all, who is “Brother” and why isn’t he “My brother”?

Secondly, what’s he doing handing out wagons?

Thirdly, what would you do with a wagon? You already have a bicycle…

I think we should be told.

    Very interesting :-)

It reminded me of my 2nd grader’s story about himself. His teacher encouraged him to think of interesting synonyms for the “ordinary” words he defaulted to. So he substituted “adore” for “love in his closing sentence. The only problem is, he also substituted a “d” for the “b”, so when I read it out loud, it sounded like he was saying, “I abhor my family.”
