1. “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” 2. “I Saw a Wayworn Traveler” 3. “How Firm a Foundation” 4. “Lowly Jesus”
We’ll see what happens.

It looks like the link isn’t working. Is it part of the recording?
What’s the project?
That link is just a picture. Not sure why it isn’t showing up consistently.
For now the project is hymns, but we’ll see where it goes. It’s pretty amorphous at this point.
The link and src are coming out (in Firefox 3.5) as ../wp-content/uploads/recording.JPG, which is wrong. Try making it an absolute path.
Sounds interesting!
Yeah link’s not working for me either. How are you going to mix it? Garageband’s really good and easy to use. :)
Link works for me: /wp-content/uploads/recording.JPG
Praying that your efforts will be abundantly blessed!
You are truly born and raised in Minnesota! Talking Minnesotan: “It may come to nothing.” Then again, hymns to God’s glory: something.
I didn’t know that was a colloquialism. Interesting.
What a friend we have in Jesus is my favourite hymn. Do try not to mess it up.
That’s pretty much my goal with the whole project: Don’t mess these up.
What sort of treatment you giving it? It could stand a bit of bluesing.
I’m mixing some finger-picked geetar with upright bass and pedal steel, tossing in a inability to sing very pretty, and seeing what comes out.
There’s definitely a bunch of people looking for this sort of thing.
I stuck a coupla hymn tunes on youtube (they *really* weren’t any good) and they got thousands of hits. eg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3h0PwAUpMI and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NeeIM_7YVmM
When I get 5 minutes I’ll do a quick and nasty rough of a bluesy style for WAFWHIJ and let you hear what I was thinking of. See how much you hate it.

there u go.
I like how you are answering each comment.
Does singing with bare feet provide some kind of edge?
I can respond when the questions are easy, like yours:
When you take your shoes off in someone’s house in the summer, you end up barefoot. So I was just being polite…
Does having manners give you an edge nowadays? Maybe.
