great clip! the video looks like it’ll be great
Looks extremely inspiring.
Sounds like a great video! I love the last statement…”an inside look at the radical rescue work of the gospel on the frontier of human need”. That says it all…I can’t imagine linking that statement with powerful stories of the work of the cross…wow.
i like what i’ve seen of his thoughtfulness and heart. would love to see more!
Thanks for sharing! What a great way to stretch my view of the kingdom this morning.
The trailer and web site are very well done. This would be great to use in a small group setting such as a shepherd group to inspire prayer and a passion to see the nations reached for Christ.
Exceptionally well done and about a part of the world that is usually not in the forefront of my thinking.
ooh, that’s great! I just learned yesterday that a friend of mine is going to be working on the next installment in Albania in the fall (www.brannonmcallister.com)
I’m amazed at how the Lord allows us here on the other side of the world to see and know and support what He’s doing there. Thankful, also, for men and women who do the work, and those who bring us news of the Kingdom through media like this film. Looking forward to seeing it.
Great clip! This narrator sounds like someone I could talk with for hours… I’ve been to Indonesia and can tell you that God is doing great things there.
so important for believers to see first hand that God’s kingdom is without borders. I’m eager to see the series!
Blessings!
I’d love to show this to my church. It looks great.
Looks tremendous. I’d love to get the DVD.
Thank you for sharing this! We so often forget, in our comfort, that there are those all around the world working on the front lines. It’s important to have resources like this to help move us out of our egocentric lives and become aware of the Kingdom work being done. Thanks again!
Looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing!!
That was quite a teaser. I’d love to see the whole thing, and show it to our church.
This looks like a treasure, I cannot wait to see it. Doing the work we are called to do. Thanks for sharing
fantastic!
You’re a winner, Kendra!
seems very sincere and I’d love to watch it
This is great. We have friends serving in a number of the places featured here. Would love to have a copy to promote their ministry.
What a great opportunity to show my daughter the reality of sin and the power of Christ. I’m getting it no matter what! Thanks!
Looks good. I would love to show it to our church.
This looks like one of those videos I’ll need to watch over and over until I get there or send someone else there. And then maybe have my own dispatches.
Wow. I almost started bawling just from watching that trailer–especially when he mentioned the Buddhist monastery. I can’t even imagine how emotional it must have been to have actually been there.
Dang.
Aber, thanks for posting stuff like this. I teared up and thought, I want to be a missionary. Then I remembered I am one. And I am so glad God called me out here. I’m not in a front line. But I am helping to prepare those who are.
Bless you for your part in sending some to the front line!
(I wish there was some way to chose winners who don’t care enought to enter.)
I second Jan’s wish. Having been in Indonesia, this trailer tugged at my heart for that part of the world. I hope that whoever wins a copy will use the video to open eyes, to spark fresh prayers, and to encourage more workers to go to Southeast Asia. Exciting work!
Looks really well done and definitely worth watching. I’d love a copy.
I just can’t stand the suspense of hoping to win. So I bought the DVD.
Looks great. I can’t wait to see it and show everybody I know!
Very exciting … looks like an excellent tool for compelling others into making the nations glad!
This video looks great!! I can’t wait to see the entire thing. Praise the Lord for your work with unreached people.
Looks a fantastic project, would be great to see more.
thank you, Abraham.
Looks like a good video. Hope to watch the rest of it.
Wow! This looks amazing! My wife and I would love it…
Thanks, Abraham.
The video looks good, and the need is certainly great. Thanks!
Very cool! Would love to see it and show it off to others.
Looks great!
Looks good, hope I win :)
soli Deo gloria!
sweet. thanks for the opportunity!
Frontier Missions tear at your heart. The difficulty is uprooting your family and going out there. But God moves mountains, right?
Seems to be an interesting perspective… Thanks for the opportunity, Abraham.
looks great! my fiance is a writer and would love this!
Looks fantastic! May God use it to spread a passion for the nations!
It’s good to see the unglamorous work of overseas missions. Must show all my friends. Wish churches would equip and send more. Hope to win.
Looks like a great video.
What powerful evangelism by peacefully living The Gospel. I’m intrigued and inspired in the ways Christ allows our gifts manifested for His Glory.
Looks like a great video, thanks for the opportunity to win a copy.
I’m excited! Good stuff.
I really dig getting informed about what is going on outside of the US.
Looks good.
Can’t wait to see this!
Exciting! Love giveaways – especially when it’s something I would definitely pay money for.
I’m excited to check this out!
I bless the LORD for what He’s making around the world.
Count me in for the drawing! I’d love to get it!
I am always interested in how the Gospel is spread in third-world countries, and especially Asia. My husband and I are in the waiting stage of adopting a baby girl from China. We can’t wait to get her!
I’m in!
wow. sounds incredible. thanks for the opportunity.
Count me in! Thanks!
I think I’ll get this even if I don’t win it.
Looks like a great video!
“Radical rescue work of the Gospel” . . . love that.
Would love to see this and show it to the college men i lead!
Would love to watch this film.
You said you’d ‘choose’ five winners. Does my comment need to be clever or is this good enough?
Looking forward to seeing the full version. Always great to see God at work in dark places.
That looks like a very insightful video. It would be greatly beneficial for students to get a look into the lives of those around the world…actually it is great not only for students but anyone. Can’t wait to see the full dvd.
I’m interested.
Humbling, inspiring, challenging, with a rebuke as well. This is a film I want all of my church to see. We must never forget that we are all made in God’s image and apart from salvation only found in Christ, people are perishing.
sounds like a great ministry.
Looks like an informative movie! I hope to see what God is doing, and what He is calling us to do!
Wow, the comments are blowing up.
As someone who works with college students, I hope that there is a wave of young people who look at the future differently . . . not as an opportunity to dream of their spot in wealthy America, but to dream of a life laid down for the peoples of the world.
-Lee
Umm… wow… thanks!
Looks like he has a fascinating job…
The videos would provide a great opportunity for families to visualize frontier missions. Perfect for family Bible and missions times together.
Quite encouraging!
Thanks for showing! I’m an Intercultural Studies major and hearing about the ways God is working in the hearts of even the most remote, unengaged/unreached people groups challenges and inspires me. Romans 15:20, yo!
Looks like a great video to show others
Looks fantastic! I’m always trying to help my kids understand the wider world and its need for the gospel.
This is the stuff that I want to do someday. I hope God privileges me to be used like these men and women into old age.
Wow. I need to see more of that.
Looks like a good watch. I am going into church planting and this would be great to show a congregation.
Wow, this looks like it would be a powerful tool in youth ministry!
I’m overwhelmed with emotion. I broke down and keeled before God and prayed. I prayed because there are people in our communities that need Jesus’ love but we turn our backs. How can we call ourselves follower of Jesus when we do such things? I pray for you and I pray God’s people will open their minds to do Gods work.
I’m a full-time graduate student from India praying about returning back to my country and ministering strategically (e.g. business-as-mission). One of my burdens is to connect burdened, missions-minded Americans with missions opportunities in India.
I would love to use this amazing DVD to introduce some of my friends to the beauty of missions!
Even though we live most of the year in a foreign country, it’s good to see a fresh look at what “frontline” missions really is.
I love hearing/ seeing what God is doing among the nations!
I hope I win.
I suspect this video could do my heart good – stretch its borders and expand its vision. Blessings on your work.
Looking forward to seeing the whole thing!
The needs are so great, and Christians in America know so little of what is going on elsewhere in the world. Thank you for making this available so I can learn more…
Great video to share with our family and other homeschool families! Great work!
I look forward to this resource. Man, it kind of makes my work today seem worthless.
“My broken, inadequate words will soon be forgotten, but His Word is powerful to save.”
Wow. What a reminder for all of us! (Quote taken from video at the site.)
Looks like an excellent resource
Thanks for sharing this.
This looks great. I like the simple, authentic feel – not trying to make missions look “cool,” but just telling the story clearly and truthfully.
Wow, I really want to see this. As a journalism student I see many ways to use my skills doing something like this. I’ve thought about doing something like this before, but I’ve never seen what it looks like to do it.
that looks awesome. i’d love to see the whole thing.
“Often our view of God’s Kingdom is too small and limited to what we have experienced.”
You got that right.
As a former island dweller (on an island southeast of the featured ones), I’d be interested in a copy.
Definately interested. Looks like a great gift to the church.
Looks very good…and challenging, too, as I sit in my way too comfortable American life.
Looks awesome!
to the ends of the earth…
“I have said that there is nothing in the world or the Church, except it’s disobedience, to render the evangelization of the world in this generation an impossibility.”
- Robert Speer
Just watched the trailer! We would love to receive a free copy and share it’s message with friends and family! Thanks for making this available!
Thanks for highlighting this. It looks like a powerful film and I’m looking forward to future episodes.
encouraging
I like it.
Inspiring!
i like free stuff
Nice.
The poor – in our Christendom in the US…so often forgotten about and we are so busy. This reminds me so much how much I need to pray.
Thank you for posting it.
Looks great!
Amazing video, God bless the mission fields!
I’m moving toward doing some sort of long-term, cross-cultural missions work and I would love to have a copy of this DVD, both as an encouragement to me and to those with whom I try to share my passion with!
Free DVD? I’m in. Looks excellent.
Makes me think of two things, aside from the intense desire to spend a few days with this man hearing these stories in person or even to take one of these trips with him.
1. We belittle the missionary’s work when we call ourselves the same when the extent of our “missions” is how we act in the line at the store when the person in front of us needs a price check.
2. We all really do have more opportunity than we think, even right here, to connect with people who are truly hurting.
Wow. That trailer enthralled me. I want to know what’s out there. I want to not feel comfortable in my life. I’m also curious about where a big need for adopting children might be…my husband and I are longing to adopt.
Our church had the opportunity to preview it. If you’re interested, you can read a brief review here: http://debtortograce.blogspot.com/2009/07/dispatches-from-front.html.
This looks like it could be a great resource to help people learn about all of the incredible things that God is doing in the world! As someone who is often trying to do that, I’ll definitely have to take a closer look.
Count me in & thanks for the opportunity. There are plenty of folks hereabout who would love to see this “up close” look at what’s happening out there…
Thanks for making us aware of this resource.
You’re a winner, Steven!
This looks great.
I am just finishing Darlene Deibler Rose’s book, “Evidence Not Seen,” which great, so this very place and topic is at the forefront of my mind. Thanks for letting us know about this!
Looks great. This would be great to show to our church family. Sign me up!
Looks like an awesome video. Our family strives to learn more as we teach our children about what God’s Spirit is doing around the world in drawing people to Himself. Very exciting. Our second son is leaving for college next month to study community development to train for the mission field. It’s heartbreaking to see him leave but we’re thrilled to see God calling him to this kind of frontline work. A great quote I read recently–”Either you are called to go down into the well or you are called to hold the rope for those who do. Either way, there will be scars on you hands.”
Thanks for the trailer.
Very interesting. We (believers) need to know what is happening on the “front lines” and be challenged to be out there. I need the challenge and I look forward to viewing these videos.
This looks like an excellent tool to inspire both senders and goers!
“Your overflow is somebody else’s necessity. May you find somebody who needs what you have only to discover they had what you need all along.” (Rob Bell)
I’ll be going to seminary this fall, and this DVD looks like just the thing to prepare me for the mission trips that they go on every year. If I don’t win it hear, I will likely search it out in the future. Thanks for the heads up.
Trailer was great, I’ll look forward to seeing the whole thing. Thanks for the opportunity to win a free copy.
Wow – amazing. Thanks for giving these away.
I’ve never commented before – just lurked! But this clip struck a nerve. My hubby and I are getting close to retirement and have read your Dad’s book, “don’t waste your life.” On the jacket cover he describes the retired, shell-collecting couple who meet Christ on judgment day and say, “Look, Lord. See my shells.” We don’t want to be that couple. So we are praying. Thanks for all you and Molly do to breath God awareness into our lives!
I would love to share this with my kids!
I think this is your best giveaway ever!
Thsnks for sharing this, Abraham! I would love to watch it!
From the frontline….our world is so big and we live in such a small box. The small clip looks excellent.
Looks good. I would love to see more!
Thanks for showing the clip. Leaves me wanting to see the whole. People who serve our brothers and sisters across the world are my heroes.
Count me in!
We love Frontline Missions and would be thrilled to have a copy of this!
This looks awesome and thank you for offering these copies Abraham!
You’re a winner, Matty!
Wow. I want to see that.
in.
Looks really good.
I definitely want to see that one. Thanks!
Looks fantastic!
This looks amazing. Sorry some of us just come out for giveaways. I’ll work on commenting more. :)
good work – keep it up
this is amazing.
great video, missed it the day they were showing it at church but have heard great things about it. Seems like it would be a great thing to show to neighbors as a witnessing tool.
Would love to win…
Sweet.
-Jamie
I’m not certain (given what every other comment looks like here, “call_user_func”) that this is even going to get through, but it’s worth a shot.
Dispatches is something I’ve heard parts of recently and have been wondering myself about the impact of being involved in the far reaches of the world. In that I am a 22 year-old college graduate, I have a lot of opportunity set before me and see being involved in another part of the world as being a tangible option. Perhaps seeing this and investigating some more might push me to commit to getting personally involved in some of the differing areas of the world.
This looks fantastic. A series that is polished and preaching God’s heart for the nations. I want in!
This looks fantastic. A series that is polished and preaching God’s heart for the nations. It’s Gospel frontier meets “The Long Way Around”. I want in!
Words written have more meaning. It takes more thoughtfulness to write it down. The picture of the writer/narrator putting pen to journal is priceless. Thank you.
Broke my heart…can’t even write anything worth reading. Have to let God work in my heart. Thanks
I am interested to watch the whole movie. I have recently had a greater interest in missions.
That is where I want to be.
I ordered my DVD on Tuesday and it was in my mailbox today! Whomever is handling their orders is lighting fast! Terrific customer service.
Good stuff. We need more exposure to gritty, life-and-death Christianity where Jesus saves and transforms lives, over against exposure to clean-nosed, be-good, crystal-chandelier ‘christianity’ where Jesus is a means to get shiny stuff.
Yes and YES. Hope to learn more.
I’m in.
Awesome Video! Pick Me!!!
My heart aches. While this is not what God has planned for us at the time, this video would serve well to show the reality (both joy and pain) of the field.
pick me. I will make you pie.
Awesome. I’d love to do that kind of work someday. Thanks for posting the trailer. I especially liked the part about rejoicing with new believers–it’s great to see the joy of a newly saved soul. I love seeing stuff like this-it’s important to remember those on the other side of the world. (1 Pet 5:8-9)
You’re a winner, Kayleen!
Looks like a great video! Thanks for posting this
I enjoy movies like that. Great trailer!
This looks inspiring- and convicting. I would love to see the whole movie.
You’re a winner, Jenny!
Exciting stuff! Humbling, energizing to see what God is doing ’round the world with His gospel.
I’ve recently started following you on Twitter and am really enjoying your posts!
You and your Dad are keeping me challenged with videos, articles, photos, and thought-provoking questions. We need this constant encouragement and frequent challenges, and really appreciate the humble honest reality shown to the public.
Keep up the good work!
