In Memory of a guy I don’t know but who I’m proud to be co-Minnesotans with

Yesterday, Googling for quintessential Minnesotans, I found the Larsons:

minnesota men

Larson Brothers

It turns out William died yesterday.

He’d farmed here since gasoline cost 14¢.

(Thanks to kmom for the heads-up yesterday.)

Hey-just saw this picture in the paper today and recognized it from your blog. Did you hear that Carl just died last week? He was the younger one, at 95.

Whoops. Okay, so 2 things: 1. I didn’t even read your whole post, which clearly states that “william died…” and 2. I mixed the story up, and the older brother, Will, is the one who died, after looking for the younger one, Carl.

My apologies to you for submitting an ignorant comment.
