2 guaranteed steps to growing an active Christian blog.
1. Instead of “posts” and “comments,” have “declarations” and “signatures.”
2. Always post corresponding “counter-declarations” for those who can’t “justify” “signing” your original “declarations.”

Or post something heretical. A watch-blog would link to you and BAM mega-hits, mega-comments. Can’t fail.
Or post something anti-heretical teaching and make sure the group you are talking about see’s it and their fan boys will definitly roam your site a bit :P
I don’t understand.
I think he’s poking at the Manhattan Declaration, or maybe all declarations of the sort.
That’s what I’ve been missing. Thanks for the advice.
You could also begin every post with “Boycott”. That tends to work well, too.
Awesome.
Yes.
“Wow.” That’s a “lot” of “quotation” marks.
I love the liberal use of quotation marks. :) If you’re not “careful” we’re going to start “counting” them as “words.” ;)
Agreed. The use of quotation marks is breathtaking.
Other ways to build traffic:
1. Take potshots at high-profile pastors
2. Act like kind of a D.B. and throw other Christians under the bus
3. Cuss
4. Repeat
well said.
I personally think we need AT LEAST 17 or 25 more articles about the Manhattan Declaration. There is just not nearly enough being said about that.
i see something about the Manhattan Declaration, but i still don’t really get it. i must be reading the wrong blogs.
also: http://unnecessaryquotations.com , but this post is not a case thereof.
Heresy, boycott, potshots, cuss? I guess I’ll just stay unknown…
LOLOLOL. Dude. YES!
And don’t forget #3: Be insufferably pompous.
If Jonathan Edwards was a blogger…
#4 allow for filibusters by allowing only one person to type a comment at a time.
hahaha! i would be happy to add my signature to this post!!
Abraham seems to relish employing the oblique post. I wouldn’t pop a bolt persuing understanding.
I saw a blog the other day with “remonstrance.” Nice.
