Great stuff! Happy Birthday Abraham!
Happy Birthday, Abraham. You’re an intersting young man and I enjoy reading your blog. Looking at pictures on your mom’s blog, Orison is a chip off the ol’ block. Have a fun day.
Happy 30th Birthday! My 30′s have been far better than my 20′s…so enjoy these years! God bless.

Happy Birthday, Abraham!!
W00t! Happy 30th Abe!
happy bir-day ME! okay. no. happy birthday to you! just a few short years and you’ll be celebrating on 12/12/12. how cool.
That is a beautiful verse!
Birthday Greetings are in order!
I greet you with an orderly greeting:
Happy Birthday, young man!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ABRAHAM. Saw it on your dad’s facebook. Great post too. Truly though, getting sick of the fact that lots of great writing is by exceptionally messed up people. I know we are all sinful, but really, it’s tiresome.
God’s answer to our discouragement about the sinfulness of others is the same as what’s contained in Auden’s lines: “LOVE your crooked neighbor / with your crooked heart”. This is God’s sentiment. He invented it, and I think this is evidence that he’s put it on the hearts and minds of his whole creation.
If you’re feeling like it’s tiresome (and the sinfulness of myself and others makes me feel that way sometimes too), remember that because of Jesus our hearts aren’t crooked anymore. They have been purified. We can love everyone, constantly and purely!
Happy Birthday, Abraham!
Happy birthday!
Now this is a great poem and it packs a powerful punch! Happy Birthday. Saw those pics your mom posted. That little Orison looks like you chewed him up and spit him out. You will find that lots of wisdom comes in the 30′s.
Thank you for sharing the poem and happy birthday, Abraham.
Only God knows how your 30′s will be. My very limited experience at 33, however, is that they are far better than my 20′s. May God richly bless yours & Molly’s 30′s beyond anything you could’ve asked Him for or imagined.
mmm. Thank you for that.
Thanks. Two of my friends broke up today. I now regret not encouraging them (as I felt I should have a few months ago) to seek relationship mentoring/counseling. The bittersweetness of this poem fits perfectly.
I’ll smoke a pipe today in your honor.
Bergamot, to be precise.
Many happy returns.
remember 12/12/12 is 9 days before the end of the world
Belated birthday greetings Aber!! Hope it was a memorable day; thanks for the terse, true word in this post; a great reminder.
Happy Birthday, Abraham! My daughter is having her first this Saturday. Seems like a lot of cool folks have their birthdays this month… ;-)
Hi. i’ve read your blog about 5 different times, and it still catches my attention the fact that the twentytwo word concept is kept through almost everything posted, even when it was not written by you. how is that possible? please explain!
I do an unreasonable amount of counting words. :)
