Their show has some of the funniest stuff I’ve seen. Most of their stuff is up on youtube, and it can definitely be an effective time-waster.

“There’s still everything to play for and forever to play it in.” The beauty of sport. Always deciding, but never decided.

Portsmouth – Southampton is one of the fiercest rivalries in English football, and they rarely play – so all their games are rather historic. The last two times (Pompey won both 4-1) are historic turning points for at least one of the clubs. Southampton haven’t recovered, 5 years later, from losing to Pompey when they last played in the league (even the weather in Southampton changed according to the scoreline!). Pompey nearly ceased to exist due to going bust around the last time they played – in their darkest hour and having gone behind, they managed to out stamina a Southampton side giving everything and scored 3 in the last 15 minutes.

That said, the parodies are great and ring true!

Haha, so funny! I never did understand the “we did this to you” lingo. I may try the movie thing on the next person who gloats to me about “their” team over “ours.”

I remember these being on TV. The real funny thing is that the SERIOUS adverts on TV for football are pretty much the same!
