Everybody’s the same in thinking they’re different.
Yesterday I tweeted,
I can relate to people who think that no one’s the same as them, because I’m just like that.
My comment reminded John Goering of this xkcd:

Public transport is the most antisocial place in the world. I’m sure of this.
Ha. I’ve thought that before. On a subway. Or at a Subway. I can’t remember.
ha :)
That’s exactly how I used to think when looking at all my fellow art students back in college.
Every one of them was trying to be different by coloring their hair purple, or wearing more piercings and tattoos than thought possible, or by having all the anime paraphernalia.
No matter how different they dressed or who they associated with, they were all the same.
Except for me, of course. ;)
Everybody is unique. ;)
Until recently I thought being an anime/Nintendo fan made me different from everyone else. Until I realized that I’m just the same as all other anime fans…
I am, however, reformed. xD
i’m still waiting for the alt-text to appear…this could take a while…
Me too! My mouse is hovering, and nothing is happening!
Oops, sorry guys! It got lost in translation. I’ll pay more attention next time I post an xkcd.
