Impossible but awesome music: Imagining the ideal cover versions of songs
If you could hear any band play any song, what combination would you choose?
For instance, I think it would be pretty funny to hear “Song of the Volga Boatmen” done by the Sex Pistols or Elliot Smith.
Or, more seriously, Townes Van Zandt singing “Fisherman’s Blues.”

johnny cash playing “monkey gone to heaven”by the pixies would be pretty awesome
I would love to hear Metallica cover “Behind Blue Eyes” by the Who. (Think Unforgiven II)
