Fantastic video, but it’s not actually “Give Thanks”. The song is “Go West” originally done by the Village People, and later covered by the Pet Shop Boys. It’s one of the tracks in the video game Dance Dance Revolution Extreme.
I find it hard to sing “Give thanks” without thinking about how much I dislike the Pet Shop Boys (not personally, but their style of music).
Very distracting.
I was at a church youth function where someone was playing DDR on that song, and all the guys were singing “give thanks” to it, so it will always stick in my head that way.
A Mighty Fortress was supposedly based on a beer hall song, and Martin Luther was certainly know to enjoy a frothy stein…
I still vote for “Give thanks”
…done by modern Lutherans
…in lederhosen
…”in the Spirit.”
Wow. THat drummer is…. passionate? And thats a nice rendition of Give thanks with a thankful heart.
Yo–when the dude closest to the camera runs in with a clarinet @2:18, he also very emphatically gets himself situated with a mic. *BAM!*
I’ve only heard this song done by African American gospel choirs (I’m relatively new to the Protestant music rolodex), so the contrast is great.
That is definitely “give thanks”! Awesome!
It’s Animal from the Muppets! It is clearly “Give Thanks With a Greatful Heart”
So I now realize that everyone else already said “Give Thanks” so I change my answer to the Russian National Anthem.

Yes! Thank you…I knew it couldn’t be “Give Thanks.”
I choose to believe “give thanks” is completely original and not tainted by “the world.”

Time for some of Matt H’s drummer jokes…
