Interesting that they’re wearing hats in a building. Enough of it must have been gone to make them consider it outdoors.

The sad thing is that I have to admit that I am that enamoured with books to join them.
(Although – judging by how little sense my last comment makes….. I obviously don’t read enough)!

This is as much a comment on the British people when they were alone fighting the Nazis (this photo was many months before the Americans declared war on Germany) as it is about their love of books.
