I wish I could shoot rockets out of my mouth. (Or is that ‘with’ my mouth?)
To… to… to… to to to… Nothing.
Preachers shoot rockets (even if they are ‘truth’ rockets) out of their mouths all of the time when they insist on preaching ‘to’ people.
Although it wouldn’t really work to preach ‘with’ people….
Hmmm. Maybe just preach the Gospel and invite people to hear it?
Btw, if you started a series called ‘Preposition Piper’, I would subscribe ‘to’ it.
This might be useful for me, but I might need a discussion with somebody first. I´m translating one of my one poems from Swedish to English.
The poem repeats the phrease: “När du talar med mig om Norrland” many times.
‘med’ is most often translated with ‘with’. ( Norrland is approximately the northern half of Sweden geographically.) However in my first draft in English I used ‘speaking to’, now I am strongly inclined to change that.
What do you think?
