a lot of shuffling of the feet before getting into the car… but yeah, great photo!

Something interesting about those tracks . . . hmmm.

I’m thinking that right to the left of the frame (off the image) there must have been another car or something that the driver didn’t think they would clear, so backed up a bit to be more certain to miss it.

    Great picture, and fun, too!

Let’s do a little Sherlock Holmes on this art. How much can we guess about the person/car from the picture? I’d guess male. Business type (from shoes). Car must be a mid-size sedan/larger compact type (from comparing car footprint with others in lot). Target demographics for that type of car would be a early-mid career person. Maybe sloping back window on the car (looks like he may have wiped the back window off from the tracks). If he did wipe the window off, he’s probably taller (6ft or so) to adequately wipe the back window from one side of the car. You could probably measure the stride and get a height estimate too. Seems like he was the first to leave the parking lot. I wonder why? The light makes it seem overcast even after the snow, can’t really get a time of day estimate from that. Any more guesses?

Sadly, I think your attempt at being Sherlock has failed.

The prints tell a very different story. The person walking back to the car walked first to the back door, where they put down a child. If you zoom in, you can see the smaller footprints.

The splaying of the footprints suggests someone carrying a heavy load, too. It also makes the footprints darker, as the increased weight means the snow got more melted by the pressure.

I don’t think it’s a man’s shoes, unless it is trainers. It seems to lack a defined heel and sole, so almost certainly NOT a businessman.

I’d say you are completely wrong in your analysis. Sorry.
