Are the cars really abandoned? It’s hard to imagine walking away from this if the blizzard was so bad the cars were trapped. Of course I’m imagining being there in the van with a load of kids and being trapped. Nightmare!
People spent the night in many of those cars. No lie. The city had warned drivers not to get on Lake Shore Dr., but didn’t officially close it until around 8:00 pm.
If global warming means we will have 10 degree (Celsius) weather in the middle of a Canadian winter, then I’m all for it. Bring it on! Let your cars idle! Help out us cold Canadians.
