That is AWESOME.
I kind of love this, and it is probably one of the more useful gadgets Fred has come out with as of late … not like usefulness was ever one of Fred’s main concerns.
Oh, man! I WANT one of those! Of course, if I had one, I’d be slower at my prep than I already am. And no one wants that.
Actually, as a professional chef and having worked in 4 and 5 Diamond restaurants, this isn’t seen as OCD, it’s simply correct. In culinary school you are graded on the preciousness of your cuts. I wish we’d had these in every kitchen I ever worked in. Some people’s knife-skills leave a little to be desired.
