A correction to the Pepsi/Coke logo comparison
When I posted the Pepsi and Coke logos from the last century or so, a couple commenters pointed out that the image is wrong to imply that Coke’s branding has never changed. Granted, the image with its immutable logo was probably intended to be funny and point out that Coke’s design has pretty much come full circle. But still, sorry for the confusion.
This one from Brand New is closer to accurate.

But, what about the Coke “red bottle” logo?
Yep, this seems a tad more accurate than the last one ;)
The power of a great logo.
It looks like everyone who’s been designing Pepsi logos since 1991 needs to be told what a logo actually is! Surely the name and the symbol should be connected by a little bit more than just being next to one another? Of course, it also looks like they should have stuck with either the 1940 logo or the 1973 one…
