The majority of Montana football fans are not Broncos fans. I would say far more are Seahawks fans than just the NW corner. Also way more Vikings fans than this gives credit for. Honorable mentions include Raiders, Chiefs, Cowboys, and 49ers. It’s lonely out here for a Browns fan…
That’s true! I’ve never seen more of a melting pot for football allegiances than Southern California.
There’s those who are loyal to former LA teams like the Rams and Raiders. There’s those who support the Chargers and 49ers.
And there’s LOTS of people who aren’t originally from Southern California but have the misfortune of living here (such as myself) who support their teams from back home.
And ever since February, it seems I’ve encountered lots of Green Bay fans. I wonder how many of them were Saints fans the year before…
In fact, last time we were in the Super Bowl, people were making a fortune shipping Iron City Beer (which tastes like crap, btw) all over the place for Super Bowl parties in other places, both national and international.
I suspect this phenomenon is because the blue collar, nitty gritty, drinking town with a football problem does have it’s own yinzer charm (along with seven major universities), it’s not really the kind of place you want to STAY forever. Instead, it exports countless Steeler fans to the ends of the earth.
Huh. There’s something kind of missional about that, isn’t there? ;)
I can’t speak for the res of the map but it’s entirely wrong about southern nevada, it’s by far more for the niners, with the cowboys as runner ups and both fans hate each other so it would be wise to be careful wear you drink and watch football in vegas.

I live in Birmingham and that’s actually pretty accurate. The Saints, Titans, and Falcons are all represented down here.
Bengals country actually extends further into southeastern Kentucky, from whence I hail.

This map is wrong. Everyone knows the Steelers have the most fans and they are America’s team. I mean, they are Obama endorsed.
