Asahi and Sapporo are like the Coke and Pepsi of beers in Japan.

I drank a LOT of Asahi when I was in Japan. I think it’s pretty good. It’s a very crisp, clean, clear, dry beer.

Asahi is awesome! It’s my favourite beer. I agree with the person who said it’s light/crisp…I find it similar to Corona in it’s light-tastingness but way, way better. Unfortunately you can’t find it in most liquor stores here…they usually just have Sapporo (which I find too strong) or Tsingtao (which is okay…I find that more Budweisery in taste) as far as asian beers go.
