People send Opera Software emails meant for Oprah, and Opera responds

Opera Software company, makers of the browser Opera, receives the occasional letter from an appreciative fan.

But the question is fan of what?

I’m sure that Opera gets plenty of positive responses to its own products and services, but the funniest fan mail they’ve regularly received over the years has been meant for Oprah Winfrey.

Oprah, Opera.

The best part is that Opera’s team has responded to many of these, rather than just delete them.

They write:

[Oprah's] show has brought us great joy throughout the years. We’ve been receiving lots of mail from Oprah fans, asking us questions, complaining or simply just opening up, telling us about their lives. We’ve tried to answer these emails the best we can.

Here’s my favorite:

9-year-old accidentally sends a request for Hannah Montana tickets to Opera Software Company instead of Oprah Winfrey.

You can see several more at their site.
