This building is NOT!—not—for sale or rent!
Too bad, I know. All of us vying for this property are so disappointed right now…

Dang it. And here I learned to read for nuthin.
It’s a bit pointless to put “Can you READ” on the wall.
OOh nucking futs!!!
That house is only a few blocks from where I live. It is located in a fairly nice neighborhood as the photographer mentions. You wouldn’t know it from the photo but it’s actually surrounded by plenty of up-kept houses. 5 years after the photographer captured that, the house still has the same graffiti and is still not on the market.
This is really interesting, and I’m glad to have the context that Carlos noted. When I saw this, it seemed really familiar from my time in the DR Congo. There, a common scam is to sell property that isn’t one’s to sell, so people often write “Ne pas a vendre” (“Not for sale”) on their homes – even on really nice ones.
Actually, since it clearly says that it is NOT not for sale, then it is for sale. Maybe people who don’t understand the language have mistakenly thought that it isn’t for sale and no one has put a offer on it.
HERE’S MY PRICE specializes in properties that are not for sale!
