This isn’t from when our government tried to starve the Native Americans into submission?

  4. This is horrible. I am a Big Game Hunter and Guide. This is monstrous. How can this even be real, even then? Lord help us all.

Grow up people. We eat animals, it isn’t news.

They shot them for sport, see who could rack up the highest count in a day. There were reloaders & they would soak the barrels in waterto cool them off.
500 in a day was a good count per man & there would be 10 guys shooting.
Only thing they took was the head & skin for leather….the rest was waste!!

@dwindle It’s not about growing up. Maybe, just maybe, some people are upset with the irresponsible practices in the past. Yes, people eat meat, I eat meat but this picture represents something far beyond what you are saying.

You honestly believe they wasted all that meat, yet spent the time pulling the completely useless facial skin off, piling it up, and going through the effort of grinding the bone meal for planting?
What do you suppose became of the 40 million cows that were slaughtered last year?
