I wonder what the tip was for Danielle?
It’s the “Service Chgs” at the bottom – $24,869.80
Good times all around. :)
i wonder if she will go backpacking through europe and search for her inner self
That was the first thing I thought.
I was curious what the “1 BOT Ace MIDAS” was – it sold for $100,000. It’s apparently a 30 liter (almost 8 gallons) bottle of ridiculously expensive champagne.

Didn’t we do that @ Tracy’s last week?
judging by their choices in beverages (champagnes, heinekens, light beers, and berry favored cocktails) I’d say the Bruins are a bunch of pansies.
A bunch of pansies that won the damn Stanley Cup!!! They can drink whatever the hell they want to! You have to be pretty insecure about yourself to judge others by what they drink.
I would assume wives/gf’s were invited to the party.
No good beer in all of that?!? I disapprove.
42 Below is a GREAT Beer, sucker!
I like that complimentary bottle of champagne. What do you give a group that already bought a $100,000 bottle?
And all that by 10:06 PM…
Sucks for the other waitresses who got stuck serving Average Joe …. and their $4.00 tips.
Did anyone else think: “$100k for a bottle of champagne? Absurd. Oh? It’s a really big one? Ok, never mind.”
I honestly don’t approve or disapprove of what these guys do with their money. Frankly, it’s none of my business.
I’m beginning to wonder what the word “freedom” that people keep harping about actually means anymore.
Dear Sir,
Honestly, I am free to disapprove of your comment. Frankly, X’s disapproval of expensive champagne is none of your business.Freedom actually means: the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hinderance or restraint…the definition continues but I’m to lazy to copy it. You are free to be annoyed by this post.
Maybe you were joking though. In that case, good one. You got me all snarky.
I wasn’t joking, and you are free to get all snarky. ;o)
Hope they had enough left for a kebab.
Time on the bill 10:06PM…
Seems pretty early considering the parade didn’t end until 1:00PM or so in Boston. Add on 45 minutes for post parade press, 1.5 hours for ride to Foxwoods (conservative)… Arrived at the earliest 3:15PM – solid 7 hours of late afternoon drinking?
I expected to see 3:00AM on the top of this tab…
Actually, 10 was the time the tab was opened. 2:01, at the bottom, is the time the tab was closed.
This infuriates me. Yes, they’re legally free to spend their money this way. But morally? No.
I’m not talking about the alcohol. It’s an issue of spending that much money on anything that temporary. Something with no lasting effect but a memory. And would the memory have seemed less of a celebration of their success and hard work to only spend $10k or even $15k on drinks and carefully put the other $140k+ to work saving a few thousand lives? Ridiculous! How is this morally acceptable? (I understand you’re not making a statement either way, Abraham. This isn’t directed at you or anyone here, but at them.)
I guess I just can’t stomach seeing stuff like this.
Jesus Juke of the year
We’ve officially reached Inception-levels of the Christian blogosphere.
ha ha!
Getting tired of Jesus Juke Jukes, too, though.
people spend boatloads of money on vain crap all the time. weddings come to mind. get over it.
Bacardi $300? I’ve heard of markup for atmosphere but a bottle of common liquor shouldn’t be 1000% of it’s original price!
I wonder if anyone had any sodas?
*pop
Hey, Danielle probably can afford grad school, or a new car, or whatever the hell else she wants now. I mean, sure, they blew a shitton of money, and maybe people are all pissed because it didn’t go to charity, but Danielle, plus her bartender, plus her backwaiters, probably have a lot of extra money and maybe can pay some bills or splurge elsewhere. Economic stimulus indeed.
Heck yeah!
And oh look- the winemakers, breweries, et al (and the numerous people they employ) have been patronized and their monthly revenues went UP. Hallelujah for the money spent that makes the world go ’round! Good on the Bruins for their win and their celebration. (Heck, I treat myself to a $5 latte or $13 cocktail when I celebrate little things in my life… I’m sure that’s just as appalling to someone who makes $5/week in another, less privileged country. Perspective.)
I’m more upset that they charged $10 for a kama kazi! WTF? I pay $1-2 for those! Even during sxsw i paid like $4! Talk about mark up!
15 dolars fo a yager bomb? thats stupid.
But im sure it was a great party, wish i was there lol
OMG I would have busted a nut when i got my tip out at the end of the night!!!!!!
The interesting thing was all that was drank in four hours. (look at the times on the receipt.)
only 7500 in taxes on a bill that large… no wonder the US is broke
Anddd who pays for this?. . . the NHL? that is comforting.
I think I’ll be avoiding “Shrine”. All their prices are really, really high. Not just 100% or 200% markup like some fancy joints charge, nearly everything is a factor of ten times too expensive!
Even that enormous bottle of champagne; the regular retail price is around $75,000. (And I hope they kept the bottle: much of the high price is for the solid gold ornaments on the bottle.)
I like the 67 bottles of water at the end. Gotta keep hydrated!
