The following tips are my favorites from Gawno Magazine’s 78 Photography Rules for Complete Idiots.

unimpressive… really!
I got a great picture of an old rancher holding hands with his wife as they left a restaurant. Taking the picture of their backs was much more relevant than from the front. And the finger thing only really happens anymore with film and some cellphone cameras ..
“It’s better to photograph clouds, when there are clouds.”
It’s also better to not use a comma when one is not necessary, mr. blogger person.
“But I paused, when I said it!”
I thought the same thing when I read it.
I’d like to point out that this blogger is drawing these examples from an article in an online magazine. Your punctuation-wrath requires a redirect.
Comma was used properly, shut up.
Use capitals when addressing someone as “Mr.”
