Georgia is taking a poll to decide their next license plate design.

Some of the more mischievous folks online are suggesting that everyone go vote for #4…

Heh.

Nebraska did this a while back and when they found out the vote had been rigged by a website having voters vote for the worst option, they invalidated the poll and started over. The one they ended up wasn’t much better…

Just stopping by to say thanks for sharing our link :D

  3. Mindy says:

Well, it would be funny if I didn’t live in Georgia :) I’d prefer NOT to have that as my plate…pick #3 if you feel the urge to vote!

  4. Kirsty says:

You have decorative license plates in the US?
Does that not make them harder to read?

  5. Kim says:

Well see here in the US, when we can’t read the license plate, we just assume the car is stolen and perform a pit maneuver to make them stop. Especially if the driver is black. :) It works out pretty well.

  6. Blah says:

If they actually WERE trying to put a horse’s butt on the license plate, would we all be commenting on how much it looks like a peach? Just saying.

  7. Caleb says:

    As a Georgian, I think I’ll vote for #8.

  8. Sandy says:

    I vote for #4

  9. Robert says:

    I will vote for #6.

  10. Courtney says:

I quite like #1, but #8 is my second favorite. Sadly, I don’t live in GA anymore. I saw #4 and laughed out loud.

I don’t like the .gov on any plates, but luckily in Maryland instead of it saying Maryland.gov at the bottom of my plates, they say ‘Historic’ instead. Our new standard “War of 1812″ tags at least have some nice colors and graphics rather than plain black on white, but Historic tags are not offered in anything but the old B&W.

    • Pyrologik says:

I should stress “MY plates” because they’re all well over 20 years old, the qualification for the designation.
