Nature sees your photoshopped animal picture and raises you one Sheep Pig.
I was surfing along the internet when this picture popped upβ¦
It got a little smile out of me, because it’s a pretty good mashup of a sheep and a pig, right?
Then I did a bit of Googling and saw that it’s real. Mangalitsaβ¦
β¦is a name for three breeds of pig grown especially in Hungary and the Balkans known also as a curly-hair hog. It belongs to European unimproved lard-type breeds that are descended directly from wild boar populations.

I’m sitting next to my Hungarian husband who confirms that this is indeed a breed here. He also says that their meat is supposedly healthier than that of the average pig. Something about the fat composition of the meat being healthier.
this is so confusing..
would be better if it was a wolf.
And they say men can be hairy… :D now we finally found a breed they got something in commen with… hahah
