Loggers standing by a tall stack of huge logs, circa 1890
I don’t think I’d want to stand where most these guys are. Also, are those two horses going to be able to haul all that?!

That’s enough wood to make one notebook.
how did they get them up there?
and those horses can pull all that??
I want to know that too! How’d they manage to pile all that wood on top of each other?
I’ve never done it nor seen it done, but I’m thinking horses or oxen, skids and cant hooks.
They probably used pulleys to stack them. Once you secure one layer you move to the next above it and so on and so forth.
From what I am reading, a team of two horses can pull around 24,000 lbs on a sled on dirt. So, with the significantly lower friction of a sleigh on snow, they should be able to pull substantially more.
I believe it’s called, two horse power. Sorry, I couldn’t resist.
Fake!
hahahahaha just kidding–I crack me up!
I am a logger- rollin, rollin!!!
