540-foot-tall man-made climbing wall
On the wall of the dam is the highest artificial climbing wall of the world. On a length of 165 meter, over 650 handles and hooks have been installed. The installation has been made by a german manufacturer of climbing handles.

No, actually. Goldeneye was filmed at the Verzasca dam. But they’re not too far apart. And while you can climb this one, you can bungeejump from Verzasca ;)
“Over 650 handles and hooks have been installed…” //And they couldn’t install just a few more so that you wouldn’t have to use a ladder to get started?
That is so unskilled saps don’t go macho & try climb & die in the process.

OK glad I’m not the only one who read the title that way .. had to slowly go through it a few times to understand!
