  1. Lee Shelton says:

So if Hitler could have read English, WWII might have been prevented. Let this be a lesson to you kids.

    • Raph says:

Don’t be silly, every politician knows english, even 100 years ago. They could speak english just like every noble person in the middle ages could speak french. Also, Hitler was way too deluded to be convinced by Ghandi…

      • John says:

Unfortunately for the world, Hitler did not know English.

        Duh.

      • Tim says:

Actually the common language that all Nobles knew in the middle ages was Latin and Greece. France was a couple of different kingdoms and they spoke a variety of different languages.

  2. Adam says:

That’s it? I like Ghandi as much as the next person, but it seems a little…insufficient?

  3. stephanie says:

    that was weak sauce.

  4. Juanny says:

“Well anyways, dude, whatever your decision, I remain a sincere friend. Take it easy bro.”

  5. ED... says:

Hitler didn’t know what “seliberately” meant, so invaded Poland.

  6. Ben Mordecai says:

    Hey Hitler friend, friend,

Friends know that friends are friendly. If you value our friendship, would you seliberately avoid going to war just like your old friend me?

    In friendship,

    Ghandi

  7. Natasha says:

I don’t know if this is real. Why would Ghandi write in English, especially to a German?

  8. Arijit Saha says:

    FYI..
    its not Ghandi,, its Gandhi…!!!

  9. Paul says:

I think this may be an example of what our president calls “smart power.”

  10. Mycnh says:

Well, good thing he didn’t send such a rash, fire-breathing letter so quickly – wouldn’t want to be an “impertinence” a month and a half before invading Poland …

  11. Jack says:

Something tells me this is fabricated…

  12. Gab says:

    1) Ghandi and Gandhi are the same person, 2 variations of his name
    2) its not from gandhi, his signature is forged. Note how in all documented signatures of Gandhi there are
    A) no dots between Mohandas Karamchand (M and K) in any signature, but here there is.
B)the sideways v on the k is never connected in his signatures, it is here
C)the g is malformed. Gandhi’s g is connected to the k where the k leads into the loop of the g
    D) the d is malformed. Gandhi’s d is more of an elongated s
