I could see it working out for wolverine!

You know, a lot of people make this mistake. Even the US Govt. when they arrest Wolfie and put him in Level 10 power neutralisers. He just cuts his way through the bottom of the airship prison – his Adamantium skeleton ISN’T his superpower.

His superpower is “not dying”. He always regenerates, even from nuclear level blasts. His claws, added by a secret project, spring out & cut through his skin, but it heals.

I figure that’s why he’s always so pissed off – not matter how much pain he is caused, no matter how much he wants to die, his superpower keeps him alive.

but… part of his super-power is that he has claws – yes, they’re originally bone and have adamantium grafted to them, but they’re still part of his mutant abilities

let’s not forget he also has super-natural senses as well as his healing factor, so all of his actual powers wouldn’t be visible (unless he pops the claws)

    • Sevenpenny says:

and you would be wrong about the claws part. His claws were not added by the “secret project” aka Weapon X…the only thing added by Weapon X was Adamantium which was grafted onto his bones.

Wolverine got the better end of the bargain…
