    Really funny…except that Piglet is an armadillo. Just found this out myself, retroactively ruining my childhood.

      Piglet is exactly what his name suggests–a small pig. The characters were based on toys Christopher Robin Milne had in his nursery, and while there was a small pig, there was never an armadillo.
