So…does a turtle has both and endo and exoskeleton? Does the shell count as a skeleton? Inquiring minds want to know.
Actually, the shell is not bone. The shell is living and growing. Its not the same as nails or bone, more like a really thick flesh.
Slight problem, its a tortoise not a turtle :)
