Spitting Cobras… Scariest snakes ever?
The Mozambique Spitting Cobra…
…can direct its venom accurately into the eyes of its victim at distances of more than 6 feet and may cause temporary, or even permanent, blindness…

There was a kid who sat across from me in middle school who could do this. He could shoot a stream of spit from underneath his tongue accurately to about 6 feet. I’m glad his wasn’t poisonous.
I knew the same kid. Only his was poisonous. He hit me once and I got the worst case of conjunctivitis ever known to man.
I’m married to that same kid!
I killed one of these when I lived in Zambia. It was a six-foot black necked spitting cobra. The nasty things aim for your eyes, and if they succeed, only a urine eye rinse can keep you from blindness.
That sounds bad, but good thing I sat across from a kid in middle school who’s favorite thing to do was just that. Guess I know who I’m giving this extra ticket to Zambia
Damn Nature! U scary!
