Freddie Mercury soundalike auditioning for Queen’s Queen tribute band
From Queen Extravaganza…
Queen’s Roger Taylor is launching a North American talent search that will offer vocalists and musicians the opportunity to star in the Queen Extravaganza.
The Queen Extravaganza is a live touring show celebrating and paying tribute to the songs, style and vision of one of the World’s biggest bands, Queen.
If this guy doesn’t win, I’ll be very interested to see the audition of the person who does…

He’s not lip synching . . . he’s the real thing, the lead singer from the Christian rock group DownHere — an awesome band from Canada now centered in Nashville. I saw them live in concert twice this past summer.

He’s for real, he’s a singer in the band Downhere, and I’ve heard him live several times. He’s an amazing vocalist and genuinely nice guy. Google him for heaven’s sake!
He’s definitely taking breaths… they’re just deep breaths that fill his whole abdomen instead of the shallow ones that would only move his shoulders. Extremely talented guy! I love the ease with which he sings!

I know no one can replace Freddie but when i heard this, I cried! Absolutely amazing!For those of us that feel what a loss it was when Freddie Mercury passed, its wonderful the band is reviving their sound as a live cover band. This guy is the answer!!
He isn’t lipsyncing – he sings ‘this is the guitar soloooo’ at 1:50 and Queen obviously didn’t do that.

This guy is the lead singer (I’m pretty sure) to the Christian band Downhere. They have been around for a long time. Dude can sing.
