I have Australlian Possum yarn. I don’t know what I’ll knit with it, but it’s supposed to be the warmest yarn because the fur is hollow.

  2. Cameron says:

Does it hang right-side up when it sleeps?

  3. Kay says:

    Crikey! Seriously?

  4. Andrew says:

Technically it’s called a cuscus and they’re a favorite pet (or dish!) in Papua New Guinea.

  5. kat says:

looks kindof like a baby seal and a ruffled lemur got together… how interesting!

  6. Clare says:

Colloquially, they’re called possums, we have them here in New Zealand too. Lovely, warm wool from their fur. Terrible pests in places killing native birds including kiwis as they like to eat the kiwi eggs :-(
Ours are spelled ‘opossum’, the ‘o’ in front is silent! No kidding.
