I’m not sure why, but I find that mildly disturbing.
just think of the mustard and ketchup that can be strategically applied to the top and smoothly run down so that every bite will guarantee goodness. i say mass market this mutilation at football stadiums everywhere.

Unfortunately, this doesn’t work with bananas.
My mom used to do this when we were kids, and the she would cook them slowly in a frying pan with some Barbeque sauce. It was a cool way to eat a hotdog and the sauce made them better than run of the mill food on a bun!
