I used to work in a pet store, and when cleaning the cages of small rodents (hamsters, gerbils, etc) I was constantly cleaning out corpses of half-eaten babies. I don’t know why they ate them, perhaps because the cages were full and they were worried that they would starve to death, perhaps because they were not properly segregated and the males got violent .. regardless, it was gross.
I brought Geraldine home from pet shop. Cute but very quiet. Had babies in cage next morning and by noon they were gone. She ate them despite my not touching or doing anything else.

How so creepy? It’s a baby. It’s no “creepier” than a human baby?
I’m not sure you have much of an argument here. i’ve seen a lot of creepy-looking human newborns.

I never did trust the hamsters, gerbils etc for that reason. They’re such cannibals.
