Girls visit grandma. Grandma hates it.
A couple days ago, we saw a touching video of a grandpa seeing his grandson for the first time in a long time…

Older people living in assistant living homes see right thru the bullsh*t of a token visit from msot family. I mean this photo sreams of it for so many reasons.
I think you’re being too harsh on these girls. Many seniors don’t get any visits. There are a million reasons that the older woman looks grumpy in the photo, most which don’t add up to the visit being “token” or BS.
Everyone sits around thinking they are doing something nice for grandma, although they are treating her as if she has lost her mind or no one is listening to her at all. Everyone thinks they know what is best for grandma. Grandma wants no part of something! Who forgot the booze and smokes? This picture says a thousand words.
I’d be annoyed, too. The one on the far right couldn’t even keep her hands off her phone long enough to take a picture.
Grandmas senile. She doesn’t even know who these young whipper snappers are. She is however jealous of their youth.

I think grandma knows they are just seeing how long till grandma kicks the bucket to get their inheritance. That’s all they talked about!!!!Nothing wrong with grandma!!!
I thought jealous too.
Or… it was a lovely visit and the photographer shot the photo just as a mouse ran through the kitchen upsetting grandma. :/
This brought tears to my eyes, remembering visits to my grandma before she died of Alzheimer’s. She didn’t recognize us, she was angry most of the time, and she thought her husband of 65 years was trying to rape her if he looked at her. I think the girls are sweet – they all three seem to be genuinely happy to be there getting their picture taken with grandma. As for the phone, she probably couldn’t get it into her tight pocket ;)

Well, if you put your elderly in a old folks home, and visit once a month…. What do you expect?
These beautiful young ladies should love her more.
