Do women find this amusing? Because honestly, I think it would just piss me off. “Thanks, Dick, for making fun of me during this super amazing time. Every thing is fluffy bunnies and rainbows! YEAH!”
Pregnancy seems like hell. I’d rather get my uterus removed, seriously.
She obviously has a sense of humor otherwise she probably wouldn’t have agreed to the picture. I find it hilarious and would do something like this, too, for a pregnancy announcement. It’s creative.
I’m a woman who has been in that position numerous times through my pregnancies. It’s great that she has a sense of humor about the whole thing. You have to have a sense of humor, otherwise we’d all come from single child homes.
This woman finds it hilarious, especially since this is how I spend the majority of my 9 months of pregnancy. My husband and I both think we’ll do this, should we have a fourth baby.
Do you think this was a candid photo? It’s pretty obviously staged, so I would venture to guess that the woman in this picture didn’t feel made fun of.
I have a 4 year old and I thought this was hysterical! I never had morning sickness like this but a few friends did. Most pregnant people I’ve known are at the front lines making light of what goes on when having a baby. For example, I use to love grossing people out by telling them I was going to save my breast milk and make homemade cheese with it. I would call it Beck’s cheese and serve it with crackers and wouldn’t tell anyone it was breast milk until it was too late. Seriously, best fun ever.
Well, all milk comes from breasts(except from some mammals). But your post made me laugh so hard I almost peed my pants, that is a good idea though for when I have kids, an epic prank to pull.
I’m pretty sure this woman did find this amusing. It’s obviously staged. No woman would put her hands on the toilet with the seat up in a house where a man and toddler boy pisses…unless she meticulously cleaned before vomiting.
She has a sense of humor.
You need one.
Please get your uterus removed. The world can’t bear for you to bring children into this world like you. Have fun with the ensuing hysterectomy, hormone replacement and cancer that is now roughly 45%+ more likely to happen from having your female organs removed.
I find it funny, but it drives me nuts when couples say “we’re” pregnant. No, only one of you is pregnant. Please stop with the “we” crap. So annoying!
Awesome.
And so it goes…

I found this utterly hysterical. But, we are both two different women.

umm, the human race would rather you do that as well! Kthxbai! :-)
Yes. I am a woman and I find this funny. It’s called having a sense of humor. It makes the world a much more enjoyable place.

This is true.
They say that because pregnancy is the couples work and both the father and mother go through challenges.
